Although Green Together was established in 2020, the desire to provide environmentally friendly alternatives for household products began several years prior.

Founding member, Anusha Naidoo’s daughter was diagnosed in 2012 with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. She realised then, that the impact of harsh chemical exposures in her occupation may have been the root cause, since genetic causes were ruled out. Research conducted in the USA, confirmed that specific chemical exposures increased the risk of leukaemia in unborn foetuses. It is through this knowledge that immediate changes were made in their home with the use of eco-friendly products.

Green Together is built on the foundation of ethics acquired through years of experience by its founding member who worked in the chemical and petro-chemical industries.  Her personal experiences combined with direct exposure to both environmental and people impact in the chemical sector, culminated in the formation of Green Together’s activism against  climate change. Green Together supplies environmentally friendly, sustainably sourced and locally made products.
